Standard Operating Procedures

Section 1: Player Conduct​

1.1 Force RP​

At NO point is Force RP allowed or appropriate. Do NOT force other players into scenes or RP that they may not want to be involved in. Respect all players and their RP.

1.2 Metagaming​

Metagaming by watching live streams or videos of in-game players to declare their location to find them and interact with them is NOT permitted.

1.3 Staying in Character​

It is important to ALWAYS stay in character while in the server. Do NOT break character for any reason. (All disciplinary actions and requests to make a report are handled OUT of the server and within the TFW Discord.)

1.4 Language​

At all times, you should attempt to keep your language as clean as possible. If other players ask you to tone your language down, please do so. (Keep in mind many members are creating content or streaming.)

1.5 GTA Driving​

At NO point will GTA driving be tolerated. Keep driving as realistic as possible.

1.6 Fear For Life​

You are expected to show fear for your life in all RP scenarios where you would realistically show fear IRL (e.g., being held at gunpoint, someone holding a loved one at gunpoint, someone wielding an explosive device).

Section 2: Discord and FiveM Profile​

2.1 Profile Naming​

Your Discord server profile name in TFW should be formatted as shown: Member Number | Name. For example: 123 | John Doe.

2.2 Profile Picture​

Your server profile picture must not contain any indecent or sexual images.

2.3 Name Content​

Your Discord/FiveM name must not contain any sexual, racial, or offensive terms/slang.

2.4 FiveM Profile Name​

Your FiveM profile name (changeable by clicking the gear icon in the top right of the FiveM home screen) must be formatted exactly as your Discord server name.

2.5 Profile Conduct​

Your Discord profile must not contain any derogatory remarks towards the server or any of its members.

Section 3: Character Cooldown​

Character Cooldown is used in scenarios where your character has either died, been transported to the hospital for critical wounds, or has been arrested/jailed.

3.1 Cooldown for Jailing/Hospitalization​

Character Cooldown for jailed/hospitalization is limited to a minimum of 2 IRL hours.

3.2 Cooldown for Death​

Cooldown for character death is a minimum of 24 IRL hours.

We have implemented this to ensure RP continues to stay fresh and refreshing. Many of our members create content and/or stream, for characters to die and immediately become present within an atmosphere in the server would be unrealistic and would not contribute to fresh/new RP ideas.

Section 4: Banned RP Scenes​

There are to be NO sexual related crimes such as sexual assault, rape, harassment, etc.

4.2 Stealing Emergency Vehicles​

Stealing emergency vehicles is not permitted UNLESS you are a part of the scene and/or creating a scene backstory by stealing the vehicle. The vehicle is not to be deleted throughout the rest of the session and MUST be spawned where you left it, unless it is found by LEO.

4.3 Suicide RP​

Suicide attempts, whether failed or successful, are not permitted.

There are to be no scenes that are terrorist/terrorism driven or related.

4.5 Random Death Match (RDM)​

There is to be NO killing without a reason or backstory. You cannot kill for no reason or without a backstory. This includes using vehicles as weapons to kill for no reason (VDM).

4.6 Throwing Bombs/Detaching Trailers in Pursuits​

There will be no throwing of bombs or detaching trailers from semi-trucks during pursuits.

4.7 Unrealistic Ped RP​

There will be no unrealistic ped RP, such as Zombies or Aliens. Yeti RP is permitted but should be used very lightly.

4.8 Federal Agency/Military RP​

Federal Agency RP is NOT PERMITTED. Military RP is permitted but limited to passive activities only, such as transporting material, base work, or air work. Air work will be monitored, and Aviation RP must be realistic and safe.

4.9 Kidnapping of Emergency Service Personnel​

Kidnapping of emergency service personnel is allowed but should be used lightly.

4.10 Underage Characters (Under 18)​

All characters portrayed in the server must be 18 years of age or older. At no point are you allowed to portray a character under the age of 18. This will result in an immediate removal from the community.

Section 5: Vehicles​

You are not to use any of the vehicles in the list below.

  • Tanks/Turreted Vehicles (Only for transport, NOT TO BE DRIVEN)
  • Lore/Base Game emergency vehicles
  • Aircraft or ground vehicles with weapons/turrets/bombs Only for transport, NOT TO BE DRIVEN
  • Base game vehicles that hold an advantage or unrealistic feature such as being bulletproof and or having jet thrusters. (Also includes bullet resistant tires and increased armor modifications)

Vehicle Modifications:​

You are not to have Bullet Proof Tires and or increased armor modifications on any vehicle.

Section 6: Realism​

TFW expects realism when it comes to RP, because not only does it enhance RP, but helps our content creators continue making outstanding content.

6.1 Cuffing and Fleeing​

Once cuffed and or tased, you can NOT continue running/fleeing from LEO.

6.2 Vehicle Exit​

Once Placed in the back of an LEO’s vehicle, you can NOT exit the vehicle on your own.

6.3 Roleplaying Injuries​

Using common sense to RP your injuries, for example being hit by a car at medium speeds and continuing to run on foot without showing injuries. Roleplaying injuries: even if GTA/FiveM only takes away health and does not implement a limp/falling or other injury, we expect you to RP your injuries to IRL standards.

6.4 Glitches and Advantages​

Using loopholes/glitches in GTA/FiveM to give yourself an advantage is NOT realistic.

6.5 Reviving and Leaving Scenes​

Reviving and leaving a scene you are involved in is not realistic and may count as FRP.

6.6 Interfering with Scenes​

Interfering with scenes you are not a part of and or have not been invited to join is prohibited. This interference may disrupt the RP that was already in motion. Please be respectful.

Section 7: Aircraft​

Aircraft usage is not limited, but regulations and rules for aircraft will be as listed below:

  • Do NOT spawn Jet aircraft larger than private jets at Sandy Shores Airfield/Grape Seed airfield (No commercial jets).
  • Do NOT land Jet aircraft larger than private jets at Sandy Shores/Grape Seed.
  • Do NOT fly recklessly and or carelessly, such as low altitudes, flying upside down, taunting civilians on the ground.
  • Aircraft emergencies such as crash landings, mechanical issues at landing are allowed but to be used lightly.

Section 8: Peds/Character Restrictions​

  • NO nude Peds and or Characters can be used.
  • NO offensive Peds.
  • NO lore/base game LEO/Federal Agency/Fire/Military Peds.
  • NO Micheal/Franklin/Trevor Peds.
  • NO peds that may be missing body parts such as heads/torso/legs.
  • NO LEO/Federal Agency/Fire/Military clothing/uniforms.

Please keep duplication of characters and peds in the server to a minimum and or none. (If you see or know of someone that uses a ped regularly, please attempt to not duplicate to keep RP fresh. Twin/Triplet RP is acceptable).

Section 9: Businesses​

If a business has an MLO or the tools/vehicles to open a business, you are more than welcome to open the business. At NO point are you allowed to refuse others the opportunity to RP the business with you.

Section 10: Security Guard RP​

  • May NOT run vehicle security lights on roadways.
  • May wield a side arm but are held to the same laws as all citizens (Being a security guard does not give the user any judicial powers).
  • May NOT interfere with LEO traffic stops and or perform traffic stops.

Section 11: Gang RP​

Gang Roleplay is allowed but the TFW team asks for all Gang RP participants to keep in mind the amount of LEO that are available to respond to their RP. Everyone wants to have a fun time, but keep in mind that if there are only a limited amount of LEO, to keep Gang related activities as passive as possible to ensure everyone can have fun and immersive RP.

Also keep in mind that we have people who are streaming and recording content on the server. Please keep all RP within the server guidelines.

Section 12: Housing​

We have many enterable homes and apartments in the server. You are more than welcome to RP in these homes and apartments. At NO point are you allowed to claim a home or apartment as your own. If somebody is already utilizing the home/apartment, leave that area to them for that session, and find another location.
